SolomonEdwards has become a member of Nextcontinent, a global network of independent management consulting firms.

With 25 years of history delivering services to some of the largest US companies and institutions, Solomon Edwards is now a member – or ‘citizen’ – of Nextcontinent, simultaneously expanding the firm’s international presence and the network’s footing in the US market.

Commenting on the milestone, François Pouzeratte, President and Chairman of Nextcontinent, said:

“The US is by far the world’s most important and largest consulting market. Having a strong foothold in the US is must for a global network such as us. We’re delighted to welcome SolomonEdwards as our newest member.”

Collectively, the network now encompasses 13 firms with more than 3,000 management consultants working in 80 offices around the world.

By joining Nextcontinent, SolomonEdwards will build gains access to a global network of experts in its key areas of expertise, including organizational consulting, financial crime, tax, private equity and data science. The move also expands its service offerings to new domains and boosts its capability to deliver projects around the world. CEO John Gulnac noted:

“We’re excited about our partnership with Nextcontinent and the opportunities to provide our services at a global scale. This expansion is yet another milestone in our growth journey.”

Within the Nextcontinent network, all firms operate independently and are partner-owned, working together on an international basis to offer a more local-led alternatives to the Big Four global consultancies.

“Our local-global approach enables firms to work together to gain international coverage, while at the same time ensuring that they maintain their unique model and ways of working trusted by their clients,” said Pouzeratte.

“At Nextcontinent, we believe we are one of the major international networks offering local consultancies such an opportunity – the chance to remain independent while joining a global group, and accessing the significant assets of a large network across every sector.”

Last week, the network also announced the addition of another US firm, Atlanta-based Proudfoot. Other members of the Nextcontinent network include Eurogroup Consulting, Curzon Consulting, Brockmann & Büchner, Ingenics, Proudfoot, Nexe, Paradigma, and YCP.
