A global engineering and construction company had grown through acquisition and needed a partner for a finance transformation initiative, with the goal of establishing a global shared services function. The transformation encompassed the consolidation of 22 ERP systems into one and involved about 300 locations across the U.S. and Romania.
We identified, designed improvements and documented the finance and accounting processes to be moved to the shared services center. We then developed organizational structures and job descriptions to support the new business model with the shared services center.
We created a comprehensive guide that became a roadmap for transitioning new accounts into the shared services center. Our guidance in process transformation and organizational restructuring helped the client successfully launch its center.
