An industrial equipment manufacturer with global operations sought our help to free up as much as $300 million in cash flow from its accounts receivable (AR) balances. They needed both project management expertise and interim resources to execute the project.

Solution

We supplied a multilingual team of collections experts who applied our Dash-for-Cash methodology to analyzing the AR problems. Working alongside the internal collections staff, we identified high-priority order-to-cash (OTC) improvements that would immediately improve collections.

Outcome

Our process improvements helped the client: collect $80M in total, with more than $33M collected within four months of implementation; recover more than $19M in bad debts; and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO) by 12 days. The immediate results allowed our client to realize a 700% ROI on consulting fees.
