A $20B regional bank brought us in to design and implement an operational framework for data governance and management that was scalable and customized to support strategic goals. The client also sought guidance in creating a data governance program management office. An obstacle to the initiative, however, was the client’s complicated business and technical landscape of over 125 applications containing confidential customer and company data.
We designed a custom data governance framework and developed a plan for implementation and regular maintenance.
The data governance framework laid the foundation to help the company derive more business value from its data. It also enabled company leaders to clearly communicate the data strategy to executives, auditors and regulators.
