SolomonEdwards conducted a detailed review of a private university’s grant and charitable giving programs for compliance with donor stipulations, and financial reporting requirements applicable under US GAAP and government compliance requirements as specified in OMB Circular A-133. The review encompassed governmental grants as well as contributions made to the university from private donors. The project enabled the university to identify opportunities to improve the internal controls and business processes governing the on-going administration, monitoring and compliance of its grant and charitable giving programs.
