Michelle Phung’s experience in the financial services industry spans over 30 years. As a founding partner of our Banking & Financial Services practice, Michelle has direct responsibility for overseeing all aspects of client delivery to ensure optimal project satisfaction. She brings deep expertise in the area of mortgage and commercial banking operations and compliance, both retail and back-office, as well as technology to SolomonEdwards. Michelle is responsible for all aspects of delivery for the group’s mortgage and commercial banking clients.
Michelle has served in executive roles in a number of financial institutions ranging from large national firms such as Wells Fargo to local community banks. Prior to joining SolomonEdwards, Michelle was the COO of a $1.5 billion Texas-based Community Bank. In this role, she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the institution including all commercial and retail back-office processes and the retail branch network. Prior to that, Michelle spent several years running the consulting practice for a financial services software provider. In this role she provided technology solutions to large and midsize commercial banks on risk management and credit, process workflow, and operational efficiency.
